The teaser video for "Chiikawa The Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island," the theatrical film adaptation of the anime "Chiikawa," has been released on YouTube's "TOHO MOVIE Channel" and "QTORY Channel," generating significant buzz. As this is a film adaptation of a popular series, fans are already flooding in with voices of anticipation. Additionally, the release date of Friday, July 24th was also announced.

The released teaser video begins with a scene of Usagi (CV: Ari Ozawa) taking a nap in the grass. A bird flying through the sky drops a flyer that lands on Usagi's face. Meanwhile, Chiikawa (CV: Haruka Aoki) and Hachiware (CV: Makoto Tanaka) head to the beach, where other characters have gathered. This work is the first theatrical animation film based on the popular manga "Chiikawa" by Nagano. Production is handled by CygamesPictures, known for their high-quality animation, including the overwhelming action scenes in the theatrical version of "Umamusume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era."
