Anime "Rilakkuma" to Begin Airing on TBS Starting April 4th! Narration by Lilas Ikuta, First PV & Key Visual Revealed [With Comments]

The broadcast date and time for the anime "Rilakkuma," whose anime adaptation by Production I.G had been announced, has been decided. The season title will be "Rilakkuma: Goyururi Yume no Tabi" (Rilakkuma: A Leisurely Dream Journey), and it will begin airing on TBS on Saturday, April 4th at 9:25 AM.

Additionally, it has been announced that Lilas Ikuta, who is also the theme song artist, will serve as the narrator for this work. In the revealed first PV, viewers can enjoy Ikuta's narration early on, along with leisurely footage of Rilakkuma and friends traveling while dressed in various outfits. Furthermore, to commemorate Ikuta's narration announcement, a collaborative visual of Rilakkuma × Lilas Ikuta and a comment video have also been released.

Moreover, main staff information and comments have arrived. The director for the first half will be Tadashi Itazu, the second half will be directed by Yumi Kamakura, and character design will be handled by Chiyo Morita. First half director Itazu commented, "Set in a fluffy and colorful dream world, Rilakkuma and friends travel freely. Within the soft touch unique to hand-drawn animation, we've packed in diverse appearances of Rilakkuma that can only be seen here."
