Pop-Up Event Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of SNS-Popular "Asamimi-chan" to Be Held at Shibuya PARCO

A pop-up event titled "Asamimi-chan 5th Anniversary Arigatousagi! POP UP" celebrating the 5th anniversary of Asamimi-chan, a rabbit character popular primarily on social media, will be held at Shibuya PARCO from Friday, February 27th to Sunday, March 15th.

Asamimi-chan, known as "a companion rabbit that makes your feelings lighter," is a character who began activities in 2021 with the goal of becoming "Japan's number one character talent."

At this event, numerous photo spots where visitors can take pictures with Asamimi-chan and friends will be set up. Some photo spots will undergo exhibition changes depending on the period: from Friday, February 27th to Saturday, March 7th, they will feature a birthday theme, and from Sunday, March 8th to Sunday, March 15th, they will switch to a band theme.

The venue is GALLERY X BY PARCO, located on the basement first floor of Shibuya PARCO in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Admission is free, and operating hours are from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (last admission is 30 minutes before closing). Note that on the final day only, the venue will close at 6:00 PM.

At the venue, original merchandise limited to the 5th anniversary featuring newly drawn visuals will also be sold. The product lineup (all prices include tax) includes T-shirts at 5,500 yen each (White and Black / sizes S to XL), tote bags at 3,850 yen, cookie tins with random stickers at 1,400 yen, plastic cups and plastic plates at 1,980 yen each, compact mirrors at 1,100 yen, acrylic stands (A and B) at 1,320 yen each, and more. Additionally, acrylic keychains at 880 yen and can magnets at 660 yen (each randomly selected from all 6 types), as well as die-cut memos and sticker sheets at 990 yen each, are also available.

Furthermore, a campaign will be held where customers can draw one "5th Anniversary Original Omikuji" for every 2,000 yen worth of merchandise purchased.
