English Edition of "Berserk" Surpasses 10 Million Copies Sold! Dark Horse Comics Releases Commemorative Video

It has been announced that the English edition of the dark fantasy comic "Berserk" has surpassed 10 million copies sold. In response to this milestone, Dark Horse Comics, the North American publisher, has released a commemorative short video across their Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Threads, Bluesky, and TikTok accounts.

"Berserk" is a manga with original story by Kentaro Miura, artwork by Studio Gaga, and supervision by Kouji Mori. It is a dark fantasy work that depicts the intense life of the protagonist Guts in a world where swords, magic, and monsters exist. Since its serialization began in 1989, it has captivated readers not only in Japan but around the world, being translated and published in 17 languages across 20 countries and regions, with total worldwide series circulation (print + digital) exceeding 70 million copies.

The English edition of "Berserk" is published in two formats: the standard B6-size edition (currently 42 volumes), which matches the Japanese version, and the B5-size deluxe edition (currently 14 volumes), which compiles three Japanese volumes into one. Volume 1 of the deluxe edition ranked number one in the 2024 U.S. manga sales rankings. Additionally, volume 43 of the standard English edition is scheduled for publication in October 2026.
