"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2016 to 2020, with animation production by ufotable. The original manga has surpassed a total of 220 million copies in circulation across all 23 volumes.

The story follows Tanjiro Kamado (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a way to turn his sister Nezuko (voiced by Akari Kito)—who was transformed into a demon—back into a human. The series began with the 2019 TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc." The 2020 film "Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train" recorded approximately 41.35 million viewers and a total box office gross of roughly 51.7 billion yen worldwide, setting the record for the highest-grossing film of all time in Japan. Following the "Entertainment District Arc," "Swordsmith Village Arc," and "Hashira Training Arc," the battle at the "Infinity Castle" has finally begun in this latest theatrical release.
