Yui Acts Strange When She Arrives at School... "High School! Kimengumi" Episode 9 Synopsis & Advance Cuts Released! Art Contest Also Announced

The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 9 of the anime "High School! Kimengumi" have been released. Additionally, an art contest has been announced.

The original manga began serialization in 1980 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) under the title "3-nen Kimengumi," and was retitled "High School! Kimengumi" as the characters advanced to the next stage of their education—a groundbreaking concept at the time that became a huge hit. Furthermore, the TV anime began airing in 1985, creating a major boom. It is currently broadcasting nationwide on Fuji TV's "Noitamina" block every Friday at 11:30 PM.

This contest is calling for art submissions that incorporate elements related to the series. Any characters that have already appeared in the anime are eligible, including the Kimengumi members, Yui, Chie, and the leaders of each group. The art format is open, allowing submissions in various genres such as illustrations, videos, photographs, embroidery, character bento, cosplay, and three-dimensional works.

The grand prize winner (1 person) will receive a shikishi board featuring an original illustration of their desired character (from among those who have appeared in the anime) drawn by the original creator, Motoei Shinzawa. Winning entries are also scheduled to be displayed on the TV anime's official website. Submissions are being accepted on X until March 20 at 11:59 PM.
