The synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 10 of the anime "You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" have been released.

"You Can't Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!" is a "freshest childhood friend rom-com" by Shinya Misu, currently serialized to great acclaim in "Magazine Pocket," depicting a sweet, frustrating, and awkward romance with childhood friends. Directed by Satoshi Kuwabara, with series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota, screenplay by Mitsutaka Hirota and Mayumi Morita, character design and chief animation director by Rena Iwasaki, and animation production by Tezuka Productions, the romantic relationships woven by childhood friends are depicted both comically and delicately. It airs on terrestrial television every Monday at 24:00.

[Synopsis]
Despite it being an accident, Shio is shaken by the kiss between Eiyū and Haru. She tries to forget by jogging, but encounters Haru while running. While running together, Shio asks Haru, "Do you like Eiyū?" Haru evades the answer, and Shio runs competitively against Haru. Still feeling unsettled and exhausted, Shio returns home and unexpectedly kisses Eiyū, whom she encounters in front of her house...!
