The official X account for "Jujutsu Kaisen" has unveiled images of the "Shinjuku Showdown Newly Drawn Mini Illustration Cards" for the spin-off work "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)," sparking discussion. These cards are included as bonuses with Volume 2 of "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡," which was released on March 4th.

The unveiled mini illustration cards feature newly drawn artwork by Yuji Iwasaki on the front and Gege Akutami on the back, with a total of 2 types created. The combinations are "Mahoraga-Gojo" and "Dabura-Sukuna." The backs featuring Gojo and Sukuna had already been revealed, and this time marks the first unveiling of Iwasaki's newly drawn Mahoraga and Dabura.

In the images, four vibrant illustrations can be seen arranged together. The upper left depicts Mahoraga with a fearless smile, brandishing a sword, while the lower left shows Satoru Gojo (CV: Yuichi Nakamura) forming the hand signs for Domain Expansion. The upper right features Dabura, characterized by blue skin, a forehead eye, and horns, while the lower right depicts Ryomen Sukuna (CV: Junichi Suwabe) with a piercing gaze, each expressed in pop and stylish colors.

"Jujutsu Kaisen ≡" is a near-future spin-off work set in the year 2086, 68 years after the "Culling Game" from the main "Jujutsu Kaisen" series. It has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since Issue 41 of 2025, with the original story by Akutami and artwork by Iwasaki. The story depicts the battle between extraterrestrial life forms called "Simrians" and Japanese jujutsu sorcerers, the Okkotsu Tsurugi and Okkotsu Yuka siblings.
