The official X account for "The Apothecary Diaries" anime has unveiled a collaboration visual with Ibaraki Prefecture, sparking considerable buzz among fans.

This collaboration features a specially commissioned visual themed around the "nemophila" flowers at Hitachi Seaside Park. Additionally, the special website is distributing original wallpapers using the new visual.

The released image depicts Maomao (CV: Aoi Yūki) sitting and Jinshi (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka) standing with his hair flowing in the wind, set against a beautiful field of blue nemophila flowers stretching across the scene. The colorful "IBARAKI is Blossoming" logo is positioned at the top, creating a refreshing springtime composition.

"The Apothecary Diaries" is an anime adaptation based on the light novel of the same name by Hyuganatsu. It is a major hit that has been adapted into manga form in two monthly magazines and a manga magazine app. The series gained significant attention and popularity for its mystery drama featuring Maomao, who becomes a "poison taster" in the rear palace, as well as the comical interactions between Maomao and Jinshi. The TV anime has aired through its second season, and the third season has been announced for a split two-cour broadcast starting in October 2026 and April 2027. Additionally, the series' first theatrical film is scheduled for release in December 2026.
