This episode was originally planned to be a joint birthday celebration for Showtaro Morikubo and Masaya Fukunishi, whose birthdays are one day apart. However, Fukunishi was absent due to illness, so Nobuhiko Okamoto ended up hosting a birthday celebration for Morikubo instead.

At the beginning of the show, Okamoto presented a surprise gift to Morikubo for his birthday, saying, "This is the world's finest coffee grinder that Morikubo-san has been passionately wanting for a long time!" However, the situation took a sudden turn when Okamoto declared, "I want to brew the best coffee for Morikubo-san and present it to him," and began operating the grinder himself.
