The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 150 million copies in total circulation. The story begins when Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) comes to share his body with the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, and transfers to Tokyo Jujutsu High, a specialized institution for fighting curses. The original manga concluded in 2024. Starting in September 2025, the spin-off "Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo)" with original story by Akutami and art by Yuji Iwasaki began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and reached its final chapter on March 9, 2026.

[Synopsis]
Deceived by Remi, Fushiguro is brought not to Higuruma but to Reggie and other past sorcerers. When negotiations break down after he demands they hand over points to add new rules, he enters combat against three opponents including Hari and Hazenoki. While struggling in the 3-on-1 battle, Kogane announces that a rule has been added allowing point transfers to other players. Upon hearing this, Fushiguro resolves himself and begins his counterattack――.
