The original work is a "hottest childhood friend rom-com" by Shinya Misu, currently serialized to great acclaim in "Magazine Pocket," depicting the sweet, frustrating, and unable-to-be-honest romance with childhood friends. The TV anime is directed by Satoshi Kuwahara, with series composition by Mitsutaka Hirota, scripts by Mitsutaka Hirota and Mayumi Morita, character design and chief animation direction by Reina Iwasaki, and animation production by Tezuka Productions.
