On ABEMA's "Anime LIVE Channel," "Say You To Yo Asobi Saturday" #34 was broadcast on Saturday, March 7th at 9 PM.
In this broadcast, a joint birthday party for Showtaro Morikubo and Masaya Fukunishi, whose birthdays are only one day apart, was originally planned for the previous broadcast (#33). However, since Fukunishi was absent due to illness, this time a "revenge" birthday party was held for Fukunishi.
■Masaya Fukunishi's Revenge Birthday Party! YouTube Live Stream Also Conducted
First, since Fukunishi had been saying for some time that he "wanted to communicate with viewers," a YouTube live stream was conducted during the recording. Fukunishi, adorned with flashy decorations made of numerous balloons with the staff-made message "Congratulations Ma-kun," was celebrated with calls from Morikubo and Okamoto.
When asked by viewers "What are your aspirations for this year?," he said "Other than health, I want to extend my singing high notes as far as possible," and Okamoto consulted with Morikubo, who has a face as a musician, saying "When it comes to high notes, Morikubo-san!" Then Morikubo demonstrated beautiful high notes, exciting both the studio and streaming viewers, and other scenes unique to live streaming appeared one after another.
■Super Luxury Ingredients Lined Up! But What About the Chateaubriand...?
Furthermore, this time, as a birthday present for Fukunishi who loves omurice, Morikubo and Okamoto rolled up their sleeves to make an exquisite town Chinese-style omurice.
The finest ingredients prepared were: Uonuma-produced Koshihikari rice "Yukitsubaki" which won the highest gold award for 5 consecutive years, eggs "Yumeou" which won the Grand Prix for 3 consecutive years, Awaji Island-produced onions "Sunishiki" at about 400 yen each, thick Kagoshima-produced "Kosedo peppers," Japan's number one "Meiho tomato ketchup," and one of the world's three great hams "Jinhua ham" - an ultra-luxurious lineup. Furthermore, as the crowning touch, "A5 rank Japanese black beef Chateaubriand" also appeared.
These were also prepared for #33, but since Fukunishi was suddenly absent, Okamoto said without any shame "After last week's recording ended, we started cooking around 12:30 AM, grilled it in aluminum foil and ate it with chopsticks." Morikubo, who knew nothing about this, retorted "Zucchi, you!" and other well-coordinated exchanges excited the studio.
