Another Yui and Rei Appear in the Classroom... "High School! Kimengumi" Episode 11 Synopsis & Advance Cuts Released

The synopsis and advance cuts for Episode 11 of the anime "High School! Kimengumi" have been released. Additionally, it has been decided that Shigeru Chiba, who played Rei Ichidō in the original anime that aired in 1986, will make a guest appearance. A comment from Shigeru Chiba has arrived.

The original manga began serialization in 1980 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) under the title "3-nen Kimengumi," and was retitled "High School! Kimengumi" as the characters advanced to high school—a novel approach at the time that became a huge hit. Furthermore, a TV anime began airing in 1985, sparking a major boom. It is currently broadcast nationwide on Fuji TV's "Noitamina" programming block every Friday at 11:30 PM.

[Synopsis]
On the way to school one morning, Yui ends up walking with Rei, but they're already running late. Rei suggests they should take shortcuts like exploiting a bug in a game, and uses shortcuts even in reality. However, when they finally arrive at school, somehow everyone seems different from usual. As they're confused by Chie and members of the various groups who seem like completely different people, what enters the classroom is none other than another Yui and Rei⁉ Moreover, this other Yui and Rei with completely different personalities seem to be on very bad terms with each other...

Q. Please tell us your impressions when you heard you'd be playing Rei Ichidō again after so long, and your thoughts on the Reiwa version of Kimengumi.

Chiba: I played Rei-kun when I was in my 30s. I never dreamed I'd get to do it again. A dense period of time frolicking through a chaotic world where gag and serious elements intermingle! I'm filled with gratitude!!
