[Photos/Images] "Stark is falling apart..." The contrast with the cool duo is creating a buzz! Wakabi Asayama's congratulatory illustration for "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Season 2 1st

A supportive illustration by Wakabi Asayama, creator of the manga "Last Karte: The Memories of Veterinary Forensic Medical Examiner Kensho Toma", was published on the official X account for the original "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" series, and it is currently making waves.

The published illustration captures a cool and dignified depiction of Frieren (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki) and Fern (CV: Kana Ichinose), who are gripping their staffs firmly and gazing forward. On the other hand, in the bottom right corner of the illustration, Stark (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi) is drawn alongside a congratulatory message saying, "Congratulations on Anime Season 2!!" However, he is given a unique super-deformed style where everything from his face down is drawn like a stick figure, and the contrast between him and the other two is eye-catching. Additionally, a separate version of the illustration with a vibrant blue and green watercolor-style coloring added to the background was uploaded at a later date.

The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a fantasy work based on the manga of the same name written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Set in a world "after" the Demon King was defeated by the Hero and his party, the story follows Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years and who helped defeat the Demon King alongside the Hero. Sparked by the death of her former comrade, she sets out on a "journey to understand humans," and the series depicts her travels and the new people she meets along the way.

In response to this post, fans have left comments such as, "Stark is falling apart...", "Stark... lol So cute lmao", "Super cool", and "Absolutely stunning and cute."
