Anime "Yowayowa Sensei" Main PV Featuring Theme Songs by Daoko and Others Released! Additional Broadcasting Stations & Fastest Streaming Also Decided, Live Stream Special Scheduled for 22 March

A ton of new information for the TV anime "Yowayowa Sensei" has been unveiled ahead of its broadcast premiere on Saturday, April 11, 2026. This includes the release of the main PV and promotional commercial, theme song artist details, the addition of broadcasting stations in Hokkaido and Nagasaki, and the decision for the fastest web streaming across various platforms. Alongside this, a special project titled "Lesson. Undress" has been launched on the official website, and a pre-broadcast live stream special featuring the four main cast members has been announced.

The series is a romantic comedy following Hiyori Hiwamura—a teacher feared by her students as "Kowakowa Sensei" (Scary Scary Teacher) despite actually having the weakest stats across the board, making her "Yowayowa Sensei" (Weak Weak Teacher)—and her student Abikura-kun, who discovers her secret. The staff lineup includes Hiroshi Ishiodori as the director, Yoshifumi Fukushima handling series composition, and Naoki Aisaka designing the characters, with animation production by Brain's Base. The original work is a manga series by Kamio Fukuchi currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine," with the latest 17th compiled volume scheduled for release on April 16.

The newly released main PV showcases the latest cuts from the show along with a preview of the theme songs. The opening theme will be "COMIT COMET" by Daoko, and the ending theme will be "Yowayowa Tsuyotsuyo Minimini Kowakowa" sung by Hiyori Hiwamura (CV: Marika Kono), Mizuki Mukubayashi (CV: Yurie Igoma), and Yuki Yukishita (CV: Yu Sasahara). Upon the song announcements, comments were shared by each artist.

Broadcasting will begin on Saturday, April 11 on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and BS11, and will subsequently roll out on ABC TV, as well as the newly added Hokkaido Television Broadcasting and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting. As for streaming, AnimeFesta, d Anime Store, and DMM TV will handle the fastest web distribution. Additionally, "Lesson. Undress," released on the official website, is a browser-based content where answering questions posed by the English teacher, Hiwamura-sensei, causes her appearance to change. Furthermore, on Sunday, March 22 at 8:00 PM, a special live stream titled "Pre-Broadcast Spring Intensive Lesson" featuring Marika Kono, Kakeru Hatano, Yurie Igoma, and Yu Sasahara will be broadcast.

[Daoko's Comment]
When I read the original manga for the song production, my heart fluttered at the cuteness and earnestness of Yowayowa Sensei (Hiyori Hiwamura-san). I wanted to express that "heart-pounding excitement" by likening it to stars, so I teamed up with Hideya Kojima to create an all-out POP track. As a result... we ended up with a starcore, full-force anime song. I can't wait to enjoy Yowayowa Sensei's various expressions in the anime.

[Marika Kono's Comment]
I struggled with how much Hiyori-sensei, who can only sing "Henyo~," would actually be able to sing this song! It's a very dialogue-heavy track, so it was a lot of fun. We pushed her to her limits and turned it into a melody with all our might, so please listen to it with lots of love!

[Yurie Igoma's Comment]
I put all my effort into pouring Mizuki-chan's power and positivity into the song! We recorded various patterns for the lively background chatter, making it a super fun track! Come on! Let's get chaotic together!!

When I first heard it, I thought, "What an incredibly fun song that perfectly captures Yowayowa Sensei!" I practiced with so much excitement, wondering how I should sing it and how far I could take it. During the actual recording, I was having so much fun that I even had them record a few different patterns...! (lol)
