On the official X account for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, new "Rain" themed merchandise featuring original illustrations, set to be released at participating Don Quijote stores from March 28th, was revealed, and the artwork is making waves.

The released image depicts five characters in the rain: Choso (VA: Daisuke Namikawa), Megumi Fushiguro (VA: Yuma Uchida), Yuji Itadori (VA: Junya Enoki), Yuta Okkotsu (VA: Megumi Ogata), and Naoya Zen'in (VA: Koji Yusa). While Choso, Fushiguro, Itadori, and Okkotsu are shown standing in the rain without umbrellas, Naoya is the only one holding a red Japanese wagasa umbrella, yet for some reason, his kimono and hair are depicted as being soaking wet.

The anime Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami. It depicts the grueling battles between "Curses" born from negative human emotions and the "Jujutsu Sorcerers" who fight to exorcise them. Since the first season of the TV anime aired in 2020, it has gained immense popularity through the release of the movie and the broadcast of the second season Hidden Inventory / Premature Death / Shibuya Incident, and the sequel, the Culling Game, is currently underway.

In response to this post, reactions poured in on X, including comments like, "Why is Naoya wet even though he has an umbrella?", "Lmao the scumbag is holding an umbrella but still getting wet", "Naoya is just casually included, but realistically he belongs in a completely different category", and "Bro, you're already out of the story... his popularity is insane..."
