On the official X account of "Umamusume: Cinderella Gray," a celebratory illustration by the artist Taiyo Kuzumi was released, and the unique hand pose made by the character is gathering a lot of attention.

The account reported that the series' cumulative circulation has exceeded 9 million copies. Along with the announcement of the celebratory illustration from Mr. Kuzumi, they informed fans that the 23rd and final volume has been on sale since March 18th, encouraging everyone to pick up a copy.

The released illustration features the protagonist, Oguri Cap (VA: Tomoyo Takayanagi). She expresses the number "9" with a unique hand gesture—joining the tips of her right middle finger and thumb to form a ring, while resting her left palm vertically underneath it—with the words "Over 9 Million Copies" designed in large red letters in the background.

"Umamusume: Cinderella Gray" is a spin-off of the cross-media franchise "Umamusume: Pretty Derby" developed by Cygames. It is a coming-of-age sports manga that depicts the journey of the Umamusume Oguri Cap, who was enrolled at the local Kasamatsu Tracen Academy, as she transfers to the central Tracen Academy and grows into someone later known as a "Monster" while engaging in heated races against numerous formidable Umamusume. Serialized in "Weekly Young Jump," its passionate race depictions and dramatic storylines fascinated many readers.
