The anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a fantasy series based on the manga of the same name written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. Set in the world "after" the Demon King was defeated by the Hero and his party, the story follows Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years and helped the Hero defeat the Demon King. Sparked by the death of her former comrade, she embarks on a "journey to understand humanity," chronicling her travels and the new people she meets along the way.
