It has been announced that the manga Space Brothers will conclude in its next 3 chapters, and that the final volume will be released on Thursday, July 23rd.

This smash-hit manga by Chuya Koyama has been serialized in Morning magazine (Kodansha) since 2007. In 2011, it achieved a double victory by winning the 56th Shogakukan Manga Award (General Category) and the 35th Kodansha Manga Award (General Category).

As children, older brother Mutta and younger brother Hibito made a promise while gazing up at the starry sky. In the year 2025, the younger brother has kept his promise, becoming an astronaut and joining the first long-term lunar crew. Meanwhile, the older brother, Mutta, has been fired from his job and is unemployed. Sparked by a single email from his younger brother, Mutta once again sets his sights on space.

To commemorate the conclusion of the series, a campaign offering 147 chapters for free will be held starting Thursday, March 19th, on the manga apps "Magazine Pocket" and "Comic DAYS".
