Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time has been screening nationwide since March 20th. At the opening day stage greeting held at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo, Jun Fukuyama, who plays Koro-sensei, took the stage alongside the students of Class 3-E: Mai Fuchigami as Nagisa Shiota, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Karma Akabane, Aya Suzaki as Kaede Kayano, and Ryota Osaka as Yuma Isogai. In this film, Fuchigami takes on a dual role, voicing both Nagisa and a girl named Hotaru who looks exactly like him.
The Anime "Assassination Classroom" 10th Anniversary Time project, launched to commemorate the 10th anniversary since the TV anime broadcast ended last year, has featured events such as TV anime rebroadcasts. Serving as the grand finale of the project, Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time features completely new animation of original manga episodes that were not depicted in the TV series.

Starting with Jun Fukuyama's greeting, Okamoto, Suzaki, and Osaka followed Mai Fuchigami's familiar intro, prompting Fukuyama to candidly remark, "I'm always the only one who can't pull off (this bit), huh." The unchanged atmosphere among the cast members, who had gathered in front of fans for the first time in about 10 years, clearly resonated through the venue.

During the stage greeting, there was a segment where the cast answered questions submitted by Assassination Classroom fans on social media in a conversational Q&A format.
The first question was, "How did you feel when this movie was greenlit?" Suzaki revealed her initial thoughts when she didn't yet know the plot: "At first, I thought we were going to do a story set in a timeline 10 years later (after the TV anime ended)." She then recalled being greeted at another recording studio by Kikuko Inoue, who voices Azusa in this film, and added, "I thought she might be appearing as a new villain, but I'm so glad that wasn't the case!"

Osaka shared his honest feelings: "I had only heard that we were doing a movie, so when I read the script and realized it was a recap, I thought, '(Isogai) barely appears in the second half!'" Okamoto followed up by backing him up, saying, "Don't worry, I thought the exact same thing."
Okamoto continued to explain, "Using various techniques, they've made it look like Karma, Isogai, and the rest of Class 3-E are present throughout." They also touched upon the brilliant structure of the film, which depicts the students of 3-E—who are on the verge of graduation—looking back on the original manga episodes that are being animated for the first time.

The next question was, "What was the most difficult part of the new song by 3-E Uta-tan (Nagisa, Kayano, Karma, Isogai, and Maehara)?" Regarding the film's insert song, "Machine Gun and Compass," Okamoto pointed out, "What was difficult was the end of the B-melody before the chorus. The notes drop, but I was told to build up the hype." He revealed that he consulted with the staff, asking if he could sing it an octave lower.
Speaking on his technical approach, he explained the reason: "If the key is too high, it ends up sounding cute. I wanted to sing it with Karma's composure, so I provided two patterns (and the one pitched an octave lower was chosen). It ended up being a vibe where we leave the high parts to Isogai and let Karma handle the lower register."
