"Medalist" is an anime based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, which is serialized in Kodansha's "Monthly Afternoon." It is a story about Inori Yuitsuka and Tsukasa Akeuraji (CV: Takeo Ōtsuka), who meet as "athlete and coach" with strong dreams of figure skating, aiming for the glory of becoming "medalists." The second season of the TV anime will be broadcast from January 24, 2026, on TV Asahi's nationwide 24-station network "NUMAnimation" slot and other channels, with a theatrical film depicting the All-Japan Novice competition scheduled for release in 2027.
