In Episode 11 of the anime "High School! Kimengumi," which has been airing sequentially since March 20th, voice actor Shigeru Chiba, who played Rei Ichidō in the original anime series, made a guest appearance to portray "Rei from a parallel world." Fans are rejoicing over the "slapstick comedy between the two Reis" performed by the old and new voice actors, with comments such as "Chiba-san's Rei-kun is still so good" and "This dream collaboration is just too perfect."

In Episode 11, "Character-llel World," Rei (CV: Tomokazu Seki) and Yui Kawa (CV: Haruka Shiraishi) find themselves lost in a parallel world.

There, another Rei and Yui exist, but their personalities are complete opposites—one serious, the other delinquent. Moreover, the two seem to be on bad terms, and a battle suddenly breaks out in the ring. Rei tries to stop the fight by hanging onto the bamboo sword held by the parallel world's Rei, making his opponent flustered as he shouts, "Let go!"

The parallel world's Rei is played by voice actor Shigeru Chiba, who voiced Rei in the original anime series broadcast in the 1980s. The slapstick comedy between the two Reis performed by the old and new voice actors caused a huge stir online, with comments like "This was really a god-tier episode, I love it so much (crying)," "I'm so happy to hear Shigeru Chiba-san's voice!", "Chiba-san's Rei-kun is still so good," and "This dream collaboration is just too perfect."
