"Lahan popping up is the best!" From The Apothecary Diaries, a "father-son illustration" of Lakan and Lahan draws reactions like "Please get back to work" (lol)

On the official X account for the anime The Apothecary Diaries, a new visual for "Chapter 2" of the "Maomao Day" project (held on the 22nd of every month) has been released. This month’s theme features seasonal plants and is currently becoming a hot topic among fans.

The newly released visual is themed "March: Yulan Magnolia x Lakan & Lahan." In the foreground of the image, Lakan (CV: Takuya Kirimoto) is prominently depicted wearing his glasses and looking delighted as he plays a game of Go, while white petals of the Yulan magnolia in full bloom flutter around him. Peeking out from behind a pillar in the background is Lahan (CV: Toshiyuki Toyonaga), who appears to have come looking for his adoptive father. Clutching a scroll while popping his head out to watch over him, the image offers a heartwarming glimpse into their relationship. Lahan is Lakan’s nephew and his adopted son.

In response to this new visual, fans flooded the post with praise for the composition and the duo's cuteness, with comments such as "This is irresistibly cute," "Such a close father and son," and "Lahan popping up is the best!"
