Information that "Jujutsu Kaisen" has taken over JR Sendai Station starting March 23rd was announced on the official X account of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" anime, attracting significant attention.

According to the posted images, large posters of characters appearing in anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" Episode 59 "Sendai Colony," including Yūta Okkotsu, are displayed on the walls next to escalators and in passageways throughout the facility. Additionally, a giant panoramic advertisement using visuals from The Culling Game has been installed, creating an impactful space that dynamically expresses the worldview of the series.

Furthermore, numerous collaboration initiatives are currently being implemented in Sendai. As part of a collaborative project with Sendai City, the display of newly drawn illustrations on the temporary fence on the east side of the city hall main building and the installation of design manholes around Izumi-Chuo Station on the Namboku subway line have begun. Moreover, from March 20th to 29th, a collaboration pop-up shop is being held within the station premises, featuring the development of "Kikufuku" collaboration products that appeared in the series.

The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed a cumulative series circulation of 150 million copies. The story begins when Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) comes to share his body with the King of Curses "Ryomen Sukuna" and transfers to the specialized anti-curse institution "Tokyo Jujutsu High School." The original manga concluded in 2024.
