Anime "Mushoku Tensei" Season 3 Broadcasting Starts July 5th! Haruka Tomatsu and Tetsu Inada Announced as New Cast for [Eris Training Arc]

It has been decided that Season 3 of the anime "Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation" will begin broadcasting every Sunday starting July 5th on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels, with simultaneous terrestrial and fastest streaming on ABEMA and d Anime Store. Furthermore, the second PV for Season 3 has been released, revealing that the [Eris Training Arc] will unfold. Within that PV, it was also announced that Haruka Tomatsu will appear as the new character Nina, and Tetsu Inada as Gal.

"Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation," which has been serialized since 2012 on the novel posting site "Shosetsuka ni Narou" by Rifujin na Magonote, has achieved tremendous popularity with a cumulative series circulation of 18 million copies. The story depicts a 34-year-old unemployed, single, shut-in NEET man who is kicked out of his home by his family and ultimately dies in a traffic accident, only to be reincarnated as Rudeus Greyrat in a fantasy world of swords and magic. Using the memories and regrets from his previous life, he faces various encounters and trials while "living seriously this time," with a grand adventure being portrayed.

The TV anime series based on this work had its first season broadcast on January 10th, 2021, and its second season from 2023 to 2024, gaining high popularity not only in Japan but also overseas in the anime scene. Now, celebrating the memorial year marking the 5th anniversary of the anime adaptation, the excitement continues to grow.

Season 3, beginning July 5th, will primarily focus on the story from volume 13 of the original novel, entering the highly anticipated [Eris Training Arc]. The blank period will be depicted where Eris, who parted with Rudeus in Season 1 and keenly felt her own powerlessness, trains her mind and body at the "Holy Land of the Sword."

In the released PV, set to the new opening theme "Ketsui no Uta" by Yuiko Ohara, scenes of Eris devoting herself to training are shown. New cast member Haruka Tomatsu commented, "I want to perform with all my might so that I can become a member who can energize Season 3." Tetsu Inada also expressed his enthusiasm, saying he will "perform with soul."

Season 3 will begin broadcasting every Sunday starting July 5th. It will air on TOKYO MX and BS11 from 24:00, on SUN-TV from 25:30, and on KBS Kyoto from 24:45 respectively (*broadcast times are subject to change). Additionally, there will be simultaneous terrestrial and fastest streaming every Sunday from 24:00 on ABEMA and d Anime Store, with sequential streaming starting on various other video distribution platforms.
