TV Anime "The Elusive Samurai" Season 2 Key Visual & Latest PV Released! Broadcasting for Consecutive 2 Cours Starting April 17th

The Season 1 & Season 2 special PV and Season 2 key visual for the anime "The Elusive Samurai" have been released.

This work is based on the latest serialized manga by popular author Yusei Matsui, who created "Neuro - Supernatural Detective" and "Assassination Classroom," serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump." It is a popular work that won the 69th Shogakukan Manga Award and has surpassed 5 million copies in total circulation to date. The TV anime Season 1, which aired in July 2024, garnered significant attention for its overwhelming visual beauty and direction that expressed the unique worldview, produced by animation studio CloverWorks.

Recently, new information about the TV anime "The Elusive Samurai" was unveiled at the work's stage event during AnimeJapan 2026, held on Saturday, March 28th. The latest PV for this series, which will begin broadcasting for consecutive 2 cours every Friday at 11:30 PM on Fuji TV's "Noitamina" block nationwide starting April 17th, features the first public reveal of Season 2 footage showing Ashikaga Tadayoshi and the Kanto Hisashiban, in addition to Season 1 cuts. Furthermore, the Season 2 key visual, depicting the daily life of the Chojato and Suwa Shinto enjoying a meal together, has also been unveiled.
