Part 2 of "Chainsaw Man" reached its final chapter with Episode 232, distributed on Shonen Jump+ on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Part 2, which began with Episode 98, was serialized for 3 years and 8 months.
"Chainsaw Man" is a dark hero action series set in a world where devils exist, depicting a boy named Denji who lives as a Devil Hunter after fusing his heart with Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil who is his partner. In Part 2, the School Arc, the story unfolded centered around Asa Mitaka, a girl who came to share her body with Yoru, the War Devil, and Denji, who desires an ordinary life. The manga has been released up to Volume 23, with the final Volume 24 scheduled for release on Thursday, June 4.
The anime adaptation also garnered significant attention, with the theatrical film "Reze Arc" released on September 19, 2025, surpassing 10.7 billion yen at the box office. The production of the sequel, "Assassins Arc," was also announced at Jump Festa 2026.
Following the conclusion of Part 2, fans have been expressing gratitude for the serialization and love for the series with comments such as "Thank you, Chainsaw Man!" To commemorate the conclusion, Shonen Jump+ is offering the first 40 episodes of Part 1 and the first 49 episodes of Part 2 for free until Wednesday, April 8.
