■ The Cast Reflects on "The Culling Game Part 1"! Tomokazu Sugita Reveals Secrets Behind His Character Preparation
In the first segment, "Juju Quiz ~Inside the AJ Colony~," the cast participated in a team-based four-choice quiz based on trending words from X (formerly Twitter) during the original broadcast.
The first question focused on episodes 52 through 54, where Hakari played a major role. When asked to identify which word among "Revolving Payments," "Tiger of West Junior High," "Fight Club," and "Kin-chan" did not trend, the cast struggled until a hint arrived from Yuki Sakakihara (voice of Kirara Hoshi). This led them to the correct answer: "Fight Club." Reflecting on these high-intensity episodes, Kazuya Nakai remarked, "It was extremely fun. I feel I’ve been given a truly interesting role."
The second question covered episodes 55 and 56, which depicted Higuruma’s courtroom drama. After correctly answering, Sugita revealed his meticulous preparation for the role: "I actually researched legal precedents and went to sit in the gallery at a real court to watch verdicts being handed down."
Furthermore, the team showcased excellent teamwork to correctly answer the third question regarding Yūta’s battles in the Sendai Colony, winning a luxurious prize: "Universal Studios Japan (USJ) Annual Pass Grand Royals." Megumi Ogata commented, "The final episode was a continuous battle scene from start to finish, so I was once again moved by the high quality of the animators' work."
