Looking Back at 'MHA' FINAL SEASON
In the following segment, "MHA FINAL SEASON Close-up!", the cast looked back on memorable episodes from the final battle.
Starting with the scene from Episode 166, "From Aizawa," involving Aizawa, Present Mic, and Kurogiri, Yoshino described his mindset during recording: "I had seen Shirakumo pass away in Vigilantes, but I didn't want to think about that too much. I performed with the hope that his words would be delivered exactly as he spoke them." Suwabe noted, "We recorded this scene before performing the 'Aizawa Student Arc' in Vigilantes, but I feel there was a flow of emotions that connected back to MHA."
When asked for his impressions of the FINAL SEASON's last battle, Umeda gave a heartfelt response: "Yamashita-san's performance as Deku... every breath he let out seemed to tell the story of the time spent with Deku. I was so captivated by his acting that I forgot to breathe, simply rooting for him, thinking 'Go for it, Deku!'"
Messages from the Cast
At the end of the talk, the cast members gave messages to the fans.
Yamashita: "It doesn't feel like MHA is over at all yet; I wonder if the day will come when it finally sinks in. Looking back like this brings back deep memories. By watching Vigilantes, you can feel how deep the story of MHA is. I hope you watch Vigilantes as well and enjoy the passion of the characters."
Umeda: "The final episode of MHA has finished and the excitement hasn't cooled down yet, but Vigilantes still has its finale left. I hope you can take that MHA love and use it to support Vigilantes. Please witness Koichi's decision."
Suwabe: "While the original manga has reached its conclusion, there are memorial developments for the 10th anniversary to look forward to. Vigilantes is reaching its TV finale now, but the original story continues, so please keep supporting it."
Yoshino: "MHA is interesting, and Vigilantes is interesting too. It's a story about becoming a hero and a story about quitting being a hero. It shows that even if you aren't a 'Hero,' there are people who can become heroes. It made me want to live rightly, even if I'm not a hero."
The stage concluded on a high note with the entire venue responding with a loud "Plus Ultra!" to Yamashita and Umeda's call of "Go beyond!", ending the event in a whirlwind of excitement.
