Huge Figures and Acrylic Stands from Expelled from Paradise, NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE, and The Irregular at Magic High School on Display! "AnimeJapan 2026" Aniplex Exhibit Report

AnimeJapan 2026 was held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 28 and 29. Featuring over 120 booths, the event was packed with the latest anime announcements and stage events for various series. In this article, we bring you a report on the exhibit content from one of those participants: the Aniplex booth.

The Aniplex booth featured displays for many of the company's upcoming anime and games, including Daemons of the Shadow Realm, Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen, and more.

Among these, Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk, which begins airing in April, featured a display of autographed message boards (shikishi) from the staff and cast, as well as post-recording (afureko) scripts.

It was also impressive to see how many series featured full-body character panels, creating a vibrant and eye-catching atmosphere.

In addition to the panels, a major highlight was the luxurious lineup of large-scale displays, such as life-sized figures from Rakuen Tsuihō -Expelled from Paradise- Kokoro no Resonance and NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE, a jumbo-sized acrylic stand for The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE - Yotsuba Succession Arc -, and a giant Rilakkuma plushie.

For series with large female fanbases like Disney Twisted-Wonderland and Hana-Kimi: For You in Full Blossom, classic "otome" merchandise such as plushies and acrylic stands were on display, providing plenty of eye candy.

Furthermore, it’s worth noting the abundance of interactive exhibits that made full use of the booth's vast floor space.

Highlights included photo panels from DANDADAN and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend, as well as a "peel-off" sticker wall for Shin-Gekijōban Gintama: Yoshiwara Daienjō where fans could take a sticker home. The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE - Yotsuba Succession Arc - even featured a voting project for the next head of the Yotsuba family, much to the delight of fans.

The merchandise corner was also well-stocked, giving visitors an early look at upcoming figures before their official release.
