New details have been announced regarding the third wave of theater gifts for the anime film Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time, which has been playing in theaters since Friday, March 20.

Assassination Classroom is a massive hit manga by Yusei Matsui that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from 2012 to 2016, with a total circulation now exceeding 27 million copies. The story follows the students of Class 3-E, the "misfit class" of Kunugigaoka Junior High, as they grow through the "assassination" of their superhuman teacher, Koro-sensei. Its unique narrative and cast of colorful characters have continued to captivate readers.

Marking the 10th anniversary since the conclusion of both the TV anime and the original manga, Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time is currently in theaters as the grand finale of the Assassination Classroom Anime 10th Anniversary Time project. Centered on original manga episodes never before animated, this "assassination x youth" entertainment experience has returned to the big screen with completely new production. The film is directed by Masaki Kitamura, marking his theatrical directorial debut after working on popular series like the TV anime After-School Hanako-kun. The screenplay is handled by Makoto Uezu, who served as the series compositor and scriptwriter for the Assassination Classroom TV anime series.
