"Worldwide 'Gundam' Poll 2025" Final Results Released! ν Gundam Takes First Place; "Neo Holland Award" Goes to Nether Gundam

The final results of the "Worldwide 'Gundam' Poll 2025," held to celebrate the launch of the "GUNDAM Official Website," have been announced.

This project, which ran from October 10 to December 25, 2025, was the series' first-ever global voting event supported in 10 languages. The total number of valid votes from around the world reached 1.33 million, revealing not only the overall global ranking but also detailed rankings for each language region.

Taking the #1 spot in the global ranking is the ν Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. The unit also secured the top position in the Japanese ranking, proving its overwhelming popularity both domestically and internationally.

Additionally, several special awards were presented. The "RX-78 Award" was given to Shining Gundam, which ranked 78th globally in honor of the RX-78-2 Gundam. The "Mafty Award" went to Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound for its 105th place ranking, referencing the year UC 0105—the setting of the hit movie Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, currently in theaters. The "Gundam 47th Anniversary Award" was presented to the Ground Type Gundam at 47th place to celebrate the upcoming 47th anniversary of the series. Finally, the "Neo Holland Award" was given to the fan-favorite Mobile Fighter representing Neo Holland, Nether Gundam, which claimed the 25th spot globally.

To coincide with the results, seven new illustrations of the units that topped the global and regional rankings have also been released.
