Next, they held the "Namikawa & Yashiro Highlight Quiz" to look back on the past year. They reminisced about heated sports battles like Headis (#5) and Cup Stacking (#11), an errand-running trip to Iwate (#13), and the "Pop-up Pirate" game that inexplicably failed to pop (#7). The quiz featured highlights such as a hilarious scene where Namikawa perfectly retorted, "You're an elephant!" after hearing Yashiro’s intense huffing and puffing while eating hot food; footage of Yashiro’s "Taku-chan" outing where he wore a blonde wig and became a "Gyaru-oh"; and a moment where Namikawa miswrote the kanji for "washing dishes" as "flowing dishes," holding his head in his hands and saying, "This is beyond embarrassing, it’s a shock."
For every correct answer, rewards like "mini udon" and "Muscat grapes" were brought out, but the lotion proved to be a formidable foe. With hands so slippery that even a wet towel was useless, they couldn't hold chopsticks, let alone spoons. Yashiro used a toy magic hand to skillfully scoop up the udon, while Namikawa simply popped grapes directly into his mouth with a satisfied look, resulting in a free-for-all dining scene.
In the second half, they played "Prediction Quiz! Namikawa Choice-ke," where Yashiro had to guess Namikawa’s actions while his sight and hearing were blocked by an eye mask and headphones. For the prompt "What if dance music plays and people clap?" Namikawa, despite being confused and on a floor slick with lotion, immediately began dancing intensely with perfect rhythm. Yashiro was highly impressed by his variety show prowess, exclaiming, "This guy is seriously amazing!"
They also pulled a prank where Yashiro and the staff quietly fled the studio for the prompt "What if everyone is gone when you take off the eye mask?" Left alone in the silent studio, Namikawa was visibly flustered, muttering, "Wait, this is scary... why is no one here?" He timidly removed the mask and shouted a desperate "Hey!" into the empty space. Watching from the monitor, Yashiro burst into laughter, saying, "He was way more desperate than we expected!" Namikawa turned red with embarrassment, remarking, "I’m ashamed that I couldn’t even move without instructions to take it off."
At the end of the show, they held a segment brought in by AD Idomukai, who lamented that "even after watching for a year, I couldn't see your true feelings at all." On the theme of "Has your impression of your partner changed over the year?" and set to poignant background music, Namikawa spoke passionately about how Yashiro is a "master of reactions with a wonderful choice of words." Yashiro, in turn, expressed deep gratitude, saying, "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Namikawa-san." However, in stark contrast to their touching words, Namikawa began randomly smearing lotion on his own face and Yashiro’s neck, while Yashiro continued his serious speech while pouring lotion over his own head. Unable to watch any longer, AD Idomukai issued a cue card to forcibly end the segment, stating, "You're just messing around now, let's move on." The season's retrospective broadcast ended in a roar of laughter, with the two of them fooling around until the very last second, just like a typical Wednesday.
