From the TV anime "LIAR GAME," the synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 1, "The Legendary Swindler," have been released.

The original work is a suspense manga by Shinobu Kaitani. Serialized from 2005 to 2015, this popular series—which has also seen live-action drama, film, and stage adaptations—is finally receiving its first TV anime adaptation, produced by Madhouse. The story follows "honest-to-a-fault" college student Nao Kanzaki (CV: Saya Hitomi), who receives 100 million yen and a mysterious invitation. Alongside former genius swindler Shinichi Akiyama (CV: Takeo Otsuka), she enters a psychological battle called the "Liar Game," where participants compete for massive sums of money. The broadcast begins on April 6 at 24:00 (Midnight) on TV Tokyo networks and other stations, with unlimited streaming starting at 24:30 on ABEMA.

The rules of the Liar Game are simple: steal money from your opponent by any means necessary. There is no right of refusal, and losing the game means a debt of 100 million yen. Nao trembles at the nightmare-like terms, but she is ignored by lawyers and unable to get help from the police. Just as she is at her wit's end, the name of her opponent arrives.
