Momono Harumi and Yasuhiro Takato to Appear! "Scum of the Brave" Cour 2 Pre-Broadcast Special Live Stream Confirmed for April 11

A special program titled "TV Anime 'Scum of the Brave' Cour 2 Pre-Broadcast Special" will be broadcast live exclusively for free on ABEMA starting at 8:00 PM (JST) on April 11, the same day the second cour begins.

"Scum of the Brave" is based on the popular manga by Rocket Shokai (Original Story) and Nakashima723 (Art). Set in a modern-day Tokyo where the underworld is ruled by mafia syndicates who have become "Demon Lords" through ether (magic) enhancement surgery, this modern supernatural action series depicts the battles of bounty hunters known as "Braves" who hunt them down.

The story unfolds as Yashiro, a freelance Brave known as the "Death God," meets Tsubame Jogamine, a high school girl who claims to be his "apprentice," leading them to become embroiled in various underworld incidents. The dynamic between the deadbeat master and his earnest apprentice, combined with the gritty world-building and high-octane action, has earned immense support from readers. The TV anime adaptation began airing in January for two consecutive cours, drawing even more attention to the series.

The ABEMA exclusive live special, "TV Anime 'Scum of the Brave' Cour 2 Pre-Broadcast Special," will feature a look back at the first cour, an introduction to the highlights of the second cour, variety segments themed around the series, and the reveal of the latest news. It has been confirmed that Momono Harumi (voice of Yukine Indo) and Yasuhiro Takato (voice of Malta, the "underground" specialist) will appear on the program.

In conjunction with the special, a free marathon broadcast of the entire first cour will take place on the same day at 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM (JST). These episodes will also be available for free streaming for one week following the broadcast.

Additionally, "Scum of the Brave" is currently airing for free on ABEMA every Thursday at 1:30 AM (JST). Each latest episode is available for free for one week after the initial broadcast.
