Preview stills, the synopsis, and a teaser video have been released for Episode 1, "The First Blini Turns Into a Lump," from the TV anime "Kujima: Why Sing, When You Can Warble?."

"Kujima: Why Sing, When You Can Warble?" is an anime series based on the manga of the same name by Akira Konno, which was serialized in Shogakukan's monthly manga magazine "Gessan" from the October 2021 issue to the May 2024 issue. It is a home comedy where a mysterious creature named "Kujima" freeloads at the Kōda household—which has a slightly tense atmosphere—and breathes new life into it. The way the family's dynamics gradually change through Kujima's presence is depicted in a surreal yet heartwarming manner, earning the series the special "U-NEXT Prize" in the Comics Category of the "Next Manga Awards 2022."

[Synopsis]
One autumn day on his way home from school, Arata encounters a mysterious creature trying to fish for loose change under a vending machine. The creature, who says he came from Russia, introduces himself as Kujima and demands to eat delicious Japanese food. Arata brings Kujima home and ends up making tamagoyaki for the first time in his life.
