The official X (formerly Twitter) account for "Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade" (Fanpare) has unveiled a new illustration by the original author, Gege Akutami, sparking a massive buzz among fans.
According to the account, this illustration was created for the "Fanpare Official Visual Book," set for release on Friday, May 1. The artwork features Yūji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki) standing in the foreground and Yūta Okkotsu (CV: Megumi Ogata) holding a sword at the center. Behind them, Satoru Gojo (CV: Yūichi Nakamura) is seen peering out with one eye from behind his shifted blindfold, alongside a boldly smiling Kenjaku (CV: Takahiro Sakurai). Set against a vibrant purple background with fine yellow focus lines, the composition strikingly emphasizes each character's presence.
"Phantom Parade" is the first smartphone game app based on the hit TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," which itself is based on the manga by Akutami. As an RPG, players can relive the anime's storyline with a full voice cast, while also enjoying an original game-exclusive story featuring characters from the Fukuoka branch. The title is celebrated for its stunning graphics and high-impact battle sequences.
Fans have flooded the post with excited and surprised comments, such as: "The protagonist, the strongest, and the worst are all in one shot," "That thick neck is just irresistible," "Wait... what?! OMG...!", and "That's Gege-sensei's Gojo for you!"
