On Sunday, March 22, at 10:00 PM, ABEMA broadcast the season finale of Say You To Yo Asobi Sunday [Yu Serizawa × Maria Naganawa] #36.

As the final episode of the current season, the broadcast featured segments looking back on the memories of the "SeriMari" duo and expressing gratitude to the viewers. Wrapped in laughter and tears, it was a warm, Sunday-style conclusion to their journey.

Announcing Their "Best Scenes": Studio Erupts Over "Edokko Maria" and "Lady Seriko"

The program kicked off with the Sunday tradition of "Girlfriend-perspective Greetings." Yu Serizawa set the tone, saying, "There were fun times, painful times... a lot happened, but let's end with everyone smiling." Maria Naganawa followed with a gentle message: "Maria's heart will always be with all of you," opening the curtain on an emotional finale.

The duo immediately jumped into the segment "I Want to Look Back on SeriMari’s Year!", where they discussed their most memorable games and moments from the first broadcast to the present.

Serizawa began by asking Naganawa—who made her first attempt at being a variety show MC through this program—"How did you get to the point where you could handle variety shows this well?" Naganawa immediately replied, "It’s all thanks to you, Yu-chan," and expressed her heartfelt gratitude: "Before Night Out started, I couldn't have imagined it, but being with you was so much fun. Thank you so much!" Serizawa praised her in return, noting, "She never once showed any sign of being reluctant or having a hard time." The studio was filled with a warm atmosphere as they acknowledged each other's growth.

While looking back at the most memorable "Asobi" (games), Serizawa announced her "Top 3 Moments Where Maria Shined." The VTR featured legendary scenes, including Maria’s "Tower Bridge" gag with a broom, her hilarious blunders during the English quiz, and the "Edokko Maria" persona where she took on missions as a feisty old-school Tokyoite. Serizawa burst into laughter, shouting, "She’s the best! I love you, Maria! I love this episode so much, I'm crying from laughing!"

Naganawa, on the other hand, looked embarrassed, saying, "This is so cringy!" and "I wasn't laughing at all back then!" Despite the teasing, Serizawa insisted, "Edokko Maria was the absolute best—it was the first thing I thought of when deciding the Top 3!"

Following this, Naganawa announced the "Moment Yu Shined the Most." She chose the improvisational skit from the "Path to a First-Class Voice Actress: Elegance Edition," where Serizawa played a high-society lady (Ojou-sama). Naganawa raved, "I really love Yu-chan’s acting when she plays someone in a high position! It’s amazing that she can do that much through ad-libbing." Serizawa blushed but playfully countered, "Your 'underling Maria' was cute too," as they reaffirmed their mutual admiration.

The staff also prepared a "Games We Want to See One More Time" segment. The duo revisited iconic games that defined their year, such as the "You Must Stay Quiet Here Game," "Don’t-Laugh Tongue Twisters," and "Pose Mania!" They remained high-energy throughout, revisiting their memories with non-stop laughter.
