Akane to train in an unexpected place... Anime "Akane-banashi" Episode 3 Synopsis and Preview Cuts Released

The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 3 of the anime "Akane-banashi" have been released.

This series is based on the popular manga currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Written by Yuki Suenaga, Illustrated by Takamasa Moue). It depicts an authentic rakugo story following the protagonist Akane Osaki (CV: Anna Nagase), who was fascinated by the rakugo of her father Shinta (CV: Jun Fukuyama) and strives for the highest rank in the rakugo world, "Shin'uchi." The broadcast started on the "IMAnimation" block of the TV Asahi network on Saturday, April 4, at 11:30 PM, and it is currently being pre-delivered on ABEMA and Netflix from 12:00 AM on Sunday, April 5.

Having finished her first stage performance and being inspired by Kaisei Arakawa, Akane decides to join the Shiguma school as an apprentice. Introduced to a colorful cast of senior apprentices by Shiguma, the serious-minded Kyoji Arakawa is assigned to guide her. Akane is eager to hone her craft, but Kyoji gives her nothing but chores. Furthermore, she finds herself training in an unexpected place...
