The official X account for "Chainsaw Man" The Stage has released a teaser trailer and announced the casting for Reze in the upcoming production, sparking significant buzz among fans.
According to the teaser trailer, the next production will be titled "Chainsaw Man" The Stage: Reze Arc and is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo and Kyoto from July to August 2026. Naotake Tsuchiya will reprise his role as Denji from the first installment, while it was announced that Yui Souma has been cast as the highly anticipated character Reze. The video attached to the post shows Reze standing in dim water wearing a choker, looking at the camera with a mysterious smile while reaching out both hands.
The original "Chainsaw Man" is a popular manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It follows the story of Denji, a young boy who is resurrected as a dark hero with a "Chainsaw Devil" heart, as he joins Public Safety Special Division 4 and throws himself into brutal battles. This production marks the second stage adaptation of the series. The first installment, "Chainsaw Man" The Stage, which premiered in 2023, received an enthusiastic response for its creative world-building and intense on-stage action, raising expectations for this latest chapter.
