Fans Go Wild for Idol Tamon in a Calico Cat Hat: "Cute, Cool, and Precious!" — Yuki Shiwasu Releases Latest Illustration for Tamon’s B-Side

The latest illustration for the popular series Tamon’s B-Side, currently serialized in Hana to Yume, has been released on manga artist Yuki Shiwasu's official X (formerly Twitter) account, sparking a massive wave of excitement among fans.

Shiwasu announced that the latest chapter, Chapter 81, is featured in the current double issue (No. 10 and 11) of Hana to Yume. She revealed that this installment is a "Rintaro-centric chapter" focusing on Rintaro Kai (CV: Ryuho Nagaoka), heightening fans' expectations for the story's development. Additionally, to celebrate the magazine's 52nd anniversary, a "Hand-signed Illustration Board Giveaway" is being held. Shiwasu is participating alongside Uzu Natsumo, the artist of the official spin-off Tamon’s B-Side: F/ACE Off-Stage!. They reported that illustration boards of Tamon Fukuhara (CV: Kakeru Hatano) drawn by each of them will be featured in the giveaway.

The illustration accompanying the post depicts Tamon wearing a calico cat-style hat adorned with cat ears and whiskers, paired with a pale blue shirt and a yellow striped tie. Tamon’s B-Side is a manga series by Yuki Shiwasu serialized in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume. The protagonist, Utage Kinoshita (CV: Saori Hayami), is an obsessed fan of Tamon Fukuhara, a member of the wildly popular idol group F/ACE. By a strange twist of fate, she ends up working as a part-time housekeeper at his home. The series has garnered immense support as a "new sensation" romantic comedy, focusing on the stark contrast between Tamon's sexy, wild persona on stage and his private self, which suffers from extremely low self-esteem.
