On Monday, April 20, 2026, at 10:00 PM, "Say You To Yo Asobi Monday" #1 was broadcast on ABEMA's Anime LIVE Channel. This broadcast marked the first reveal of the new Monday MC lineup for the program's 2026 season.

■ Hiroki Yasumoto & Junya Enoki selected as Monday MCs

For the 2026 season, the MCs for each day are being announced during their respective first broadcasts. On this day, Hiroki Yasumoto appeared as the new Monday MC. Yasumoto made his entrance while inhaling helium gas, kicking off the Monday MC era in a hilarious fashion.

Next, he moved to the studio to show off the new set and find his partner. He was supposed to emerge from behind a lucky red-and-white curtain... but no one was there. Suddenly, a voice came from the set’s storage room in a helium-induced squeak: "Hiroki, we've been friends for a long time, haven't we?" When the door opened, there stood a man wearing a dog mask. He wore a hoodie specially made by a stylist that read "HEARTLESS MONSTER." Taking off the mask, voice actor Junya Enoki made an energetic entrance. Enoki immediately started grumbling, "The energy at the opening was way too low..." but then expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "I made sure to go to Yasumoto-san’s dressing room to say hello. Since I'm an MC now, I'm fired up."

The design of this season's set is "a US highway style, themed around the transition from the 9th to the 10th year." Yasumoto joked, "Since today is the start of the new season, I might work hard just for today. From tomorrow onwards, the people on other days will take over, so I’ll just do the rest out of habit..." to which Enoki replied, "I love doing things out of habit," drawing laughter from the crew.

Furthermore, while Yasumoto had his eyes closed, Enoki revealed his "public pledge" for the night. His goal was to "eat five snacks without his partner noticing," and he actually revealed that he had hidden a piece of candy on his lapel microphone.

Enoki, who has appeared on the show five times in the past, spoke about the reason for his appointment as MC, saying, "When I asked for details, they said Hiroki insisted it had to be me." Yasumoto confirmed the story behind the offer, saying, "To be honest, I negotiated for him directly." He explained his reason for choosing Enoki: "Because I felt like he would do something weird. He does weird things while staying just within the rules."
