Mahoraga and Dabura Stand Side by Side — Huge Reaction to the Bookstore Bonus Illustration for Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ Vol. 3: "Mahoraga always gets me hyped," "The art is truly beautiful"

The official TSUTAYA X account has released an image of the illustration card that will be included as a bonus with Volume 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen ≡, and it is already becoming a hot topic.

This bonus is limited to select bookstores. Those who purchase Volume 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen ≡, which will be released on Friday, May 1, at participating stores will receive the illustration card on a first-come, first-served basis.

The released image of the illustration card depicts Mahoraga and Dabura-Karaba with a meticulous touch. Mahoraga, positioned prominently in the foreground, shows an intimidating presence with a muscular physique, massive wings, and the characteristic wheel-like ornament on its head. In the bottom right, Dabura can be seen with dark skin adorned with unique patterns and horns on his head, casting a sharp gaze. It is a powerful piece filled with tension, showing the two standing side by side.

Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ is a spin-off manga of Jujutsu Kaisen, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The original story is by Gege Akutami, with art by Yuji Iwasaki. Set on Earth in the year 2086—68 years after the Culling Game—the story is a dark fantasy that depicts the invasion of extraterrestrial life forms calling themselves Simurians, the harsh battles fought by jujutsu sorcerers including the siblings Tsurugi and Yuuka Okkotsu (grandchildren of Yuta Okkotsu), and their coexistence with the aliens.
