On the official TSUTAYA X account, information regarding the bonus for the latest 11th volume of the popular manga Kagurabachi by Takeru Hokazono has been updated. The visuals for the purchase bonus, which will be distributed at select bookstores, have been released, and it is gathering significant attention among fans for its overwhelming detail and a level of perfection described as "truly god-tier art." For Volume 11, which goes on sale on May 1st, customers who purchase the book at participating stores will receive an illustration card on a first-come, first-served basis.
The released bonus image is a gruesome and powerful illustration with characters crowded across the entire frame. In the center, the protagonist, Chihiro Rokuhira, is depicted with a stern expression, covered in blood splatters, surrounded by grotesque figures wearing Daruma and Hannya masks. Furthermore, in the right foreground, Soya Sazanami, with his white hair and blue eyes, is drawn prominently, and his coloring, vividly rendered as an official illustration, is an eye-catching feature.
Kagurabachi is a sword-fighting battle action manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The story begins when Chihiro, a boy whose father was a renowned swordsmith, has his father killed by a mysterious organization and six "Enchanted Blades" stolen. Vowing revenge, Chihiro takes up the seventh Enchanted Blade left behind by his father and throws himself into a harsh, deadly battle against sorcerers operating in the underworld. The TV anime is scheduled to air starting in April 2027.
In response to this post, reactions on social media include: "I have to spend my last dime on these scumbags," "This postcard is too fire," "It's rare for all the enemies to be this charming, seriously," and "I've seen Sazanami's colors for the first time, and I'm shocked by how handsome he is."
