Upset as Frieren Misses the Top 3! With Over 12.7 Million Votes, the 3rd "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" Popularity Poll Results are Out—"Lmao, look at 10th place lol"

The full results up to 140th place for the 3rd character popularity poll—held online to celebrate the second season of the TV anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End"—have been released on the official X account, sparking a huge buzz among fans.

This year's poll turned into an absolute battlefield, with a staggering total of 12,700,122 votes cast. According to the released results, Genau (voiced by Tarusuke Shingaki) claimed 1st place with 1,396,535 votes, followed by Himmel (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto) in 2nd, and Aura the Guillotine (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu) in 3rd. The protagonist, Frieren (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), landed just outside the top three in 4th place. Standing out among the top contenders were some rather... unique entries, such as "Demon 2 Attacking the Laufen Region" in 9th and "The Bone I Accidentally Bought" in 10th. The results are also featured in the current double issue (No. 22/23) of "Weekly Shonen Sunday," and the Sunday Premium Shop is now selling exclusive merchandise featuring the top-ranking characters.

"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a fantasy series set in a world "after" the Hero and his party defeated the Demon King. It follows Frieren, an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years, as she embarks on a new journey to understand humanity following the death of her former comrade, the Hero Himmel. Written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, the series has garnered widespread acclaim and numerous awards.
