The first segment of the memorable premiere was "10 Questions to Confirm Before Dating," where they answered value-based questions usually meant for couples by replacing "partner" with "co-host" to deepen the bond of the Wednesday duo. To the question "What kind of presence do you want your partner to be?" Hatanaka answered sweetly, "I like you just the way you are." However, Ono replied from an unexpected angle: "I want you to be thinking about me constantly." Hatanaka immediately retorted, "You want way too much! (lol)."
Next, to the question "What is one thing you couldn't forgive your partner for doing?" Hatanaka answered "unreasonable violence," while Ono gave another "heavy love" response: "Don't talk about anyone but me." Viewers flooded the comments with "Isn't he a bit obsessive? lol" and "His love for his partner is too heavy! LMAO."
Furthermore, regarding the question "What is the priority between work, friends, and your partner?" Hatanaka responded smoothly with "I'm sorry for making you answer such a question," but Ono wrote "Tasuku > Friends > Work" on his flip chart. This left Hatanaka flustered, saying, "Stop it, seriously! Please don't start saying things like 'I skipped work for you' later!?"
Also, for the question "What do you want to do on a date (location shoot)?" Hatanaka confidently asked, "You want to go to the UK, right?" but Ono unexpectedly rejected him, saying, "No... because I have to go there with Hana-chan (Natsuki Hanae, his 2025 partner)..." This sudden reversal made Hatanaka incredibly jealous, shouting, "That’s 'ex-boyfriend' talk! Throw that away! Throw away the souvenir photos and everything!" The comment section was filled with the perfect description: "The obsessive and the jealous Wednesday MCs."
For the final question, "How much are you thinking about the future?" Hatanaka boldly declared, "Living together in one year." In response, Ono revealed an even longer-term vision: "I want to keep this going for at least five years, until 2031!" Hatanaka was stunned, saying, "That’s heavy... this is only the first episode, right!? To think you’ve thought that far ahead..." The studio was lively with chemistry that made it hard to believe it was only their first broadcast.
Additionally, they introduced the renewed non-alcoholic beverage "Green’s Free" by Kirin, for which Kensho Ono appears in the commercials. This product is a balanced blend of three carefully selected types of hops. Taking a sip, the two praised it, saying, "It’s so refreshing!" and "This is delicious!" They continued the program in a relaxed atmosphere with "Green’s Free" in hand.
