Character designs revealed for the first time! Production is underway for the "Black Trigger Scramble Arc" of the anime "World Trigger" REBOOT project

It has been announced that the "Black Trigger Scramble Arc," the opening episode of "World Trigger 1st Season," is currently in active production as part of the anime "World Trigger" REBOOT project. Along with the announcement, a teaser trailer has been released, unveiling character designs and the main staff.

This series is an anime based on the manga of the same name by Daisuke Ashihara, currently serialized in "Jump SQ." (Shueisha). It depicts the elite members of the Border Defense Agency, known as "Border," as they stand against "Neighbors," beings with unknown powers. The "Black Trigger Scramble Arc" is the very beginning of the story, covering everything from the first meeting of Osamu Mikumo and Yuma Kuga in the first chapter of the original manga to Yuma's induction into Border.

In the recently released teaser trailer, pages of project documents placed on a desk are turned one after another, revealing the first-ever look at the anime character designs alongside information on the main staff and lead cast.

The main staff includes Morio Hatano as Series Director, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Series Composition, and Toshihisa Kaiya as Character Designer. The lead cast members returning to their roles are Tomo Muranaka as Yuma Kuga, Yuki Kaji as Osamu Mikumo, Nao Tamura as Chika Amatori, Yuichi Nakamura as Yuichi Jin, and Hideyuki Tanaka as Replica. At the end of the video, line-test footage of Yuma saying his own name, "Kuga, Yuma," is also showcased for the first time.
