New PV for the Anime "Chiikawa" Reveals Furuhonya for the First Time! A Dynamic Video Featuring All Major Characters

The latest PV for the anime "Chiikawa," based on the popular manga posted on X by illustrator Nagano, has been released. Along with this, a comment has arrived from Momo Harumi, who voices the new character, Furuhonya.

"Chiikawa" is a manga series that Nagano began serializing in 2020. The gap between the small, cute characters and the harsh world they inhabit has gained immense popularity among both adults and children, with the official X account surpassing 4.66 million followers to date. At the "Japan Character Award 2025" held last year, it won the Grand Prix for the third time, following wins in 2022 and 2024. Furthermore, the total number of views for videos released on the "Mezamashi TV" official YouTube channel has exceeded 400 million, making it one of the most talked-about character contents today.

In the newly released second PV, a variety of unique friends, including Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, have gathered. The footage features the long-awaited debut of the character Furuhonya. In addition to Furuhonya wearing a crab headband, major characters appear one after another, including the free-spirited Momonga, the alcohol-loving Kuri-Manjū, the reliable and admired Rakko, and the energetic Shisa. Scenes of the Yoroi-sans, the Pajama Parties, Dekatsuyo and Anoko, and differently-colored Odes dancing adorably are also included. From peaceful moments of eating delicious food and dancing happily to scenes of weeding labor and subjugation, the colorful daily lives of Chiikawa and friends are dynamically depicted.
