![[Photos/Images] The Hayakawa Family Went to a Cafe and... Denji & Power’s Reactions to the Coffee Were Terrible! The Bonus Episode from the Original "Chainsaw Man" Manga Has Been Animated 1st](https://times-abema.ismcdn.jp/mwimgs/1/3/724w/img_13516f41980c3650d2836b6d6be5693687095.jpg)
Due to Denji (CV: Kikunosuke Toya) and Power’s (CV: Fairouz Ai) "childish palates," things got a bit awkward... In "Chainsaw Days," a newly animated version of the bonus episodes found at the end of the "Chainsaw Man" manga volumes, fans can enjoy the (supposedly?) heartwarming daily life of the "Hayakawa Family."
Don’t underestimate the "Chainsaw Man - The Compilation," which covers all 12 episodes of the TV series, as just a simple recap. It includes plenty of new footage, including "Chainsaw Days." In "Chainsaw Days: A Taste for Adults," featured in the first part of the compilation, the daily life of the "Hayakawa Family"—Denji, Power, and Aki Hayakawa (CV: Shogo Sakata)—is depicted.
The three of them visit a cafe. When Aki tells them, "The coffee here is great," Denji takes his first-ever sip and immediately grimaces, saying, "This is just muddy water!" Watching him, Power coolly remarks, "How foolish. Brats just can't appreciate the flavor!" But as soon as she tastes it herself, she immediately spits it out, crying, "Blegh...! It's sewage!"
Despite Aki scolding them to "be quiet in the shop!", Denji and Power don't stop, causing a scene: "You tricked us! This is just mud!" "It's drinkable gutter water!" The male waiter broke into a cold sweat with a complicated expression on his face.
It was a disaster for the waiter, but it’s a classic slice of daily life for the Hayakawa Family. Even for fans who have watched the entire TV series, "Chainsaw Days" and the "Chainsaw Man - The Compilation" are well worth a look.
